I dont know if it's only about RSS reader or is caused by my website (last version of joomla) but when is launched using http://expatromania.ro/  the rss content isnt loading but when the adress used is http://www.expatromania.ro/ all is fine.
In this situation if the problem is related to the reader i will wait for you to fix it (if possible) else can you kindly give me a hint what to do or check in the joomla settings in order to fix this last issue.

At last i see that the same error is given by mozilla also

Thank you kindly

This is the error your getting when you try and call the program without the www on your url.
Code:
[Exception... "'Permission denied to call method XMLHttpRequest.open' when calling method: [nsIDOMEventListener::handleEvent]" nsresult: "0x8057001e (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_STRING)" location: "<unknown>" data: no]
I'll look into it a bit more as i've seen this before. It's not the program because it works fine on my site using

http://stroz.us/php
http://www.stroz.us/php

I think it's something with how apache is setup. I'll get back to ya.

p.s. BTW. My wife is Romanian. We had our wedding over there. She is from Oradea. pictures at http://www.stroz.us/gallery/

The browser thinks it is trying to load data from a different domain which is why you are getting the error.  It doesn't realize that with or without the "www" you are talking to the same domain.

Ahoy there folks.
Thank you for the quick answer. It seems that my web mail have a problem with the auto-reply so i saw your re. only now.
I also have a back-up copy of this website @: www.bitcraft.ro/joomla accessible also using bitcraft.ro/joomla and the RSS reader works pretty well there. Both of websites are hosted by the same guys so I don't think there are differences with Apache/MySQL etc versions. As far as I see (and understand given my limited knowledge in this domain), your website seems to be the same : base website/the problem section so I think the problem appear only for websites where joomla is installed directly in the public html folder and not in a sub-folder. Please correct me if I am wrong. That situation makes me believe at some point of my investigation that it might be  a fault in my joomla install. Again you can decide if it is so or not.

Regarding your wife. just remember me to say to everyone who thinks Romanians are a small people that they are completely wrong. You can find some Romanians in a lot of places, sometimes where you expect them less. Overall My best wishes for your expanded family (as I saw in the main site..)multa sanatate si toate urarile de bine. This is for her to translate if you didn't learn some Romanian yet. I am from Prahova county but my roots are in Ardeal region (same with Oradea).

For Andrew: Thank you for your post but please let me know about the place and the object I have to change in order to avoid the bug. As I've told in certain posts I am kinda noob in programming. Count on me for a PC game review in return. I have my share of experience in my past.
Thank you all

Modified message

Well something new. Lately I've re-installed joomla/rss reader. The problem does not reproduce anymore but the Reader does not display anything. It shows O. I've made a compare check with the back-up site and I notice that in the main website the is only 1  .spc file instead of 2. I've copied the missing one from the backup instalation and it worked for awile. After a short time (probably after refresh the installed .spc file disappeared and the problem is present once again

Modified again.
After about 10 hours from reinstalling everything and encountering the above described problems now things are working well. I guess that the first issue was related to a fault in joomla instalation then the latest is related to the hosting service. I have the feeling that a long discution will happen between me and them.

Thank you kindly for your hard work in doing everything.

I'll be back with news (hopefully good news) when I will have some

Im having the same problem with the Fighters guild.  After joining, Im being told by the guild guard that I need to kill 5 Knights to advance in rank.  After killing them, my journal says that I need to kill 0 more Knights.  I talk to the guild guard regarding it, and all he says is "You have your task."

Are the fighters guild promotions available yet or are they still being worked on?  Or am I just running into a bug?
